Following their successful launch in 2018, Cross-Cutting Challenges (CCC) will be held again at the 2026 Haptics Symposium.
The IEEE Haptics Symposium is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible environment for all participants. Therefore, authors are expected to follow the IEEE Haptics Symposium Guide to Inclusive and Accessible Submissions. By following this guide, authors can ensure that the widest possible audience considers their work and that their findings are shared with the broader community.
Deadline: January 23, 2026
Haptics Symposium strongly encourages demonstrations of all kinds - for example, of novel developments in haptics-related devices, software or experiments that are of interest to the conference audience.
IEEE Haptics Symposium 2026 solicits Work-in-Progress papers to enable authors to share late-breaking results with the research community. The emphasis of WIP papers is on the novelty of the work, not completeness.
Deadline: January 31, 2026
Authors of articles recently published in the IEEE Transactions on Haptics (ToH) are invited to present their work either via posters or oral presentation. Authors can select their preferred format during submission. The final presentation format will be determined based on the author’s preference and whether the paper has been previously presented orally. This is a great opportunity for journal authors to engage with other scientists and reach a larger audience.
